Waterfalls & Wine Tour

Few wine regions in the world let you visit waterfalls and wine country in the same day. We offer the ultimate waterfalls and wine tour in the Pacific Northwest.

This tour is perfect for the wine lover who also craves a little adventure — two stunning waterfalls in the morning, two wineries in downtown Hood River in the afternoon.

Your guide will fill you in on the catastrophic geological formation of the Columbia Gorge over 15,000 years ago to help you better understand how unique this region is. We whisk you off just outside the city on a historic scenic byway built alongside the mighty Columbia River, with bald eagles in the sky and salmon in the water on your way to two of the most beautiful waterfalls in the Gorge.

You can hike as little or as much as you want at each waterfall stop, since this is somewhat of a private tour. Then head into downtown Hood River for wine tasting at two local wineries — a scenic high-desert climate well suited for producing world-class Rhone, Bordeaux, and Italian varietals, with views of Mt. Hood and Mt. Jefferson in the background.

No matter how much exposure you’ve had to the world of wine, you’ll end this tour much more knowledgeable on the beverage humans have been sipping for centuries. Don’t forget your camera!
