Holloran Vineyard Wines or HVW is an incredible, hand-crafted vineyard out of Oregon’s Willamette Valley. Founded by Eve and Bill Holloran after their move to the Portland area in 1999, their journey in wine began after purchasing a “heritage” vineyard on Worden Hill Road in Dundee, along with a large parcel of land (ideal) for grape growing in the Eola-Amity Hills AVA. As their first harvest approached the Holloran’s needed a place to make their wine so they converted their horse barn on their West Linn property and produced their first 500 cases of Pinot noir, Riesling and Chardonnay. This light-bulb idea from Bill began a movement called the “garagiste” movement in Oregon, where blurring the lines between suburban and rural wine production sparked. Fast forward many years and the winery and vineyards have since been expanded as has HVW’s case production. Holloran Vineyard Wines is the culmination of a humble team effort where amazing people joined together in growing this vision. Mark La Gasse, has been the winemaker at HVW since 2005, after working as an assistant winemaker to two other Oregon wineries along with much experience as a wine buyer for a high-end wine market. Vicente Mora (originally from Mexico City) moved at age 12 to Fresno, California where his father worked in vineyards and taught Vicente everything he knew. Vicente’s passion ignited and after graduating in 2007 with a degree in vineyard management, his path continued until he began managing HVW in 2013.
We love HVW and are proud to bring our guests to experience all of their amazing wines, surroundings and experience their vineyard offers. Our current favorite | 2015 LA Chenai Pinot Noir
